Florida — March 21, 2025 – In a historic and highly anticipated visit, U.S. Department of Education Secretary Linda McMahon made waves across Florida last week as she toured some of the state’s most outstanding charter schools. Her tour kicked off at Doral Academy Middle High School in Miami-Dade County, where she engaged directly with charter school leaders, participated in a student-led broadcasting program, and witnessed firsthand the profound impact of school choice on student success. McMahon took to Twitter to express her excitement, highlighting the powerful educational outcomes she observed.

While in Florida, the Secretary also visited True North Classical Academy, where she met with key state and local education leaders, including Dr. Tony Arza of the FCSA.
