Pushing the Reset Button on Teaching – Catherine Gregos M.Ed, Biology/AP Biology Instructor – Bell Creek Academy/Charter School Associates
“My goal this year is to put in each student’s mind the idea that science education occurs not only one way. Education can take place from me to them, from them to me, between their peers, and through self-paced activities. I want to embrace their curiosity, so they can own their knowledge and rediscover the scientists in themselves,” explains Mrs. Oasio.
Juliette Hammonds, 3rd Grade Math and Science Teacher – Wayman Academy of the Arts
“As a 3rd-grade math and science teacher I have to be creative with my classes, in-person and virtual,” says Ms. Hammonds.
