A Great Opportunity for New Charter Schools Leaders
Florida Charter School Alliance is thrilled to announce the creation of the School Leaders Fellowship in partnership with the Florida Department of Education through the U.S. Department of Education’s CSP grant. The goal of the School Leaders Fellowship is to develop a robust pipeline of strong, effective, and visionary charter school leaders. This tuition-free Fellowship was designed specifically for individuals working at a public charter school in operation for 5 years or less and who are passionate about education and interested in leading a high quality school in a high-need area.
More about the program:
- Fellows will meet monthly – once in person and five times virtually over the course of six months – October 2024 – March 2025 – including session #2 which will be held during the Florida Charter School Conference, November 2024.
- Sessions will provide Fellows with an overview of the Florida charter school movement and will cover a full range of topics essential to school leaders including Charter School Law, Parent and Community Engagement, District Relations, Charter School Operations and School Finances.
- Priority will be given to individuals working at a charter school that has applied for and are eligible to receive the CSP sub grant from the Florida Department of Education in the last 5 years.
