The 2024 Florida Charter School Conference + School Choice Summit is packed with educational sessions, field expert presenters, and the first annual Charter School Teacher of the Year celebration

November 2024 — This year, at the Florida Charter School Conference + School Choice Summit, the Florida Charter School Alliance (FCSA) and Florida Department of Education will celebrate charter school teachers and honor one as the 2024 Florida Charter School Teacher of the Year.

The Charter School Teacher of the Year Reception will bring together the charter school community to honor the incredible educators who go above and beyond to impact the lives of their students. Mark your calendar and join us, along with the Florida Department of Education and Commissioner Manny Diaz Jr., for tropical-themed cocktails, nibbles, and entertainment at the inaugural Florida Teacher of the Year Reception at the Caribe Royale Conference Center – Wednesday, November 20m 2024, 6:-00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  FCSA members: watch your inbox for your official invitation! Thank you to ESS Learning, Technology Lab, Academica,  and Building Hope for supporting the celebration of Florida Charter School Teacher of the Year.

Join in an open dialog with Dr. Tony Arza, Education Consultant and Board Vice Chair, Florida Virtual Education; Maria Alba, Academic Officer of Quality, Charter School Solutions; and Ashley Barber, Charter School Appeal Commission member.
