PALM GLADES PREPARATORY ACADEMY GRADUATION HELD AT HOMESTEAD-MIAMI SPEEDWAY

Homestead, FL — Palm Glades Preparatory Academy seniors held their Class of 2020  graduation ceremony at the famed Homestead-Miami Speedway, in Homestead on June 22, 2020.
Cars were strategically positioned facing the speedway’s “Winner’s Circle” where the official commencement addresses took place.  Once completed speeches were done, the seniors drove up to this staging area making a pitstop at the Senior Portrait area and then continuing to the Winner’s Circle to receive their diploma.  You can watch the ceremony here.
The graduation culminated with an official Pace Car lead celebratory lap around the 1.5-mile oval race track and the traditional tossing of the graduation cap into the air!
“Students and teachers have all had to adapt to a unique learning environment to succeed and through this, over 15% of our seniors are the first in their family to graduate high school and over 13% to ever attend college, our Eagles have soared. We are humbled by the generosity of the Homestead Miami Speedway in honoring the Palm Glades Academy class of 2020,” said Mrs. Aishia McQueen, Principal.
