September 2016 – As part of their Best of Broward and Best of Miami-Dade series, Miami Agent Magazine’s ranked the counties’ best middle and elementary schools using data from Florida’s Department of Education.
“For the first part of our series, we give you Broward’s best elementary schools,” the article states, “starting with Somerset Academy, a charter school in Davie, which received top marks in English, mathematics and science achievement.” Somerset Academy Davie has also been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as one of the top schools in the country and awarded a National Blue Ribbon in 2011.
