Application Period Opens Aug 10 for Next Fellowship Cohort

Press releases

The FCSA’s School Leaders Fellowship (SLF) has graduated forty participants in just three years. Many of the Fellows have already taken on leadership positions — confidently applying the tools and training the program provided them.

Supported by a grant from the Florida Department of Education, the tuition-free program continues its mission of cultivating the next generation of exceptional charter school leaders with the kick-off of School Leaders Fellowship Class of 2025/Cohort 4. That application period runs from August 10, 2024 to September 15, 2024.

Fellowship candidates must be educators working at a Florida charter school and interested in becoming assistant principals and principals. Prior administrative training is not required. The program was designed to accommodate and capitalize on the varied levels of seniority and leadership experience of each of the Fellows, the platform encourages participants to share their expertise, bridge generational and leadership experience gaps, learn from one another, and make professional connections that will continue beyond the program. Upon successfully completing the Fellowship, participants earn Edu Leadership in-service hours.
