Throughout this pandemic, Jefferson Somerset’s cafeteria crew and transportation team, along with principal Cory Oliver, have continued to provide students with breakfast and lunch every day — Monday through Friday. This feat is not surprising for a school that’s transformed education and brought a community together. At the start of the 2019-2020 school year, the administrators unveiled the theme for the year: “Whatever it Takes!” At a packed back to school assembly, teachers and staff stood together and recited a commitment to students, parents, and community they serve.
