May 2019 —The MAC dancers in levels 3 and 5 have been selected to perform in the Young Artist Showcase taking place this October in Miami, Florida as part of the National Dance Education Conference in 2019.
The level 3 dancers will perform “Into the Night” choreographed by assistant dance director Teddy Talbot, while the level 5 dancers will perform “Contratiempo” choreographed by dance program director Diana Ford.
This event is a wonderful opportunity for our dancers to represent Miami Arts Charter School within the most elite dance programs in the state of Florida. Educators from all around the nation will attend this week-long conference and performance series.
Miami Arts Charter School is also the only school in the state selected to perform two pieces in this showcase.
