On December 18, 2017, FCSA team visited Mater Grove Elementary to crown the winner of the FCSA holiday card design contest Amanda Ortega.
“Every submission was thoughtful and inspired by the holiday season. However, the judges overwhelmingly chose Amanda’s whimsical ugly sweater card as the first place winner,” said Lynn Norman-Teck, FCSA Executive Director.
Amanda (pictured center) is a student at Mater Grove Charter School in Coconut Grove, FL (Miami Dade). Amanda received gift cards from Barnes&Nobel and FCSA Marketplace partner Office Depot – Miami 2360 for her winning design. Her design was used to create the FCSA Holiday card that sent to member schools throughout the state.
