Legislators to Contact: 2021 Legislative Session

Advocacy is action to support a cause and influence policy and resource allocation decisions within an organization or in the public arena. The Alliance’s advocacy efforts on behalf of our member schools, and the charter school movement in Florida, includes connecting with and educating legislators to ensure that the freedoms afforded to charter schools by state statute remain in place. We also work to ensure that successful charter schools — and the students they serve — are provided with opportunities to grow.
You can be an advocate for your school by contacting your State Representative and Senator.  Let them know you are a charter school supporter and tell them a little about your charter school.  Feel free to include our Charter School Fact Sheet in your message.
Below is a list of legislators that are serving on education committees.  If you need help connecting with your legislator or would like to learn more about our educator and parent advocacy workshops, contact an FCSA team member.
